span>
Description:Guide a single Parafolk from Baby stage all the way through to Elder stage, experiencing every life transition.
How to Unlock:
  1. Create or have a Baby Parafolk in your household (born or adopted).
  2. Set life stage duration to "Short" (0.5x speed) for faster progression if desired.
  3. Care for the Parafolist through all 8 stages: Baby → Toddler → Child → Pre-Teen → Teen → Young Adult → Adult → Elder.
  4. Each age-up event must occur naturally (or via birthday cake interaction).
  5. Once the Parafolk reaches Elder stage, the achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Time-consuming but not difficult. Set lifespan to Short mode.
Reward:"Time Traveler" exclusive portrait frame + 2,000 Paradimes.
Use Short lifespan setting (0.5x) in game options to complete this in roughly 8-10 hours of real playtime. The birthday cake interaction can also trigger age-ups early if you're impatient!

Career Climber

Reach the top of any career track

Medium
Description:Promote a Parafolk to the highest rank (CEO / equivalent top position) in any of the 11 career domains available in Paralives.
How to Unlock:
  1. Choose a career path for your Parafolk — use computer, phone, or visit a workplace directly.
  2. Build relevant skills required for promotions (each career needs specific skill levels).
  3. Maintain positive emotions before work shifts (+30% performance bonus helps).
  4. Show up to work consistently on scheduled days — missing work delays promotion.
  5. Reach rank 10 (top position) — the achievement fires when you receive the final promotion notification.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires consistent gameplay over multiple in-game weeks. Easiest with Technology or Business careers due to straightforward requirements.
Reward:"Executive" office decor set + permanent daily income boost of $200.
The CEO position at ClickWork Industries ($2,100/day) is the fastest path. Focus on building Charisma and Technology skills early. Stay Inspired before every shift for maximum performance bonus.

Family Builder

Raise a household of 6+ Parafolk

Medium
Description:Have at least 6 Parafolk living simultaneously in the same household — through birth, adoption, marriage, or moving in.
How to Unlock:
  1. Start with 2 adult Parafolk (create a couple or use existing ones).
  2. Progress their romantic relationship to enable pregnancy/adoption options.
  3. Have or adopt children until you reach 4 kids (total 6 household members).
  4. Alternatively: marry NPCs and invite family members to move in.
  5. All 6+ members must be living on the same lot at the same time.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Managing 6+ Parafolk's needs is challenging but achievable with Multi-Select and autonomy features.
Reward:"Big Family" wall photo frame + larger lot size unlock option.
Enable autonomy for children and teens so they handle their own basic needs. Use Multi-Select to queue group meals and bathroom trips. Building a multi-bedroom house beforehand saves time later!

Melino Explorer

Easy
Description:Physically travel to and enter all 4 districts of Melino: Old Town, Industrial District, Mountain District, and Countryside.
How to Unlock:
  1. Open the world map or direct your Parafolk to walk toward a new district.
  2. Visit Old Town — walk there or take the bus (most lots start near here).
  3. Visit Industrial District — head east from Old Town past the train tracks.
  4. Visit Mountain District — travel north into the elevated terrain area.
  5. Visit Countryside — go south/west to the open rural fields and forests.
  6. Each district has unique landmarks; entering the district boundary triggers the counter.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Takes about 15-20 minutes of walking or 5 minutes by bus. No combat or challenges required.
Reward:"Explorer" map pin icon + bus pass discount (free travel for 7 days).
Use the bus system for fast travel between districts. Each district has a bus stop — click on the bus icon on screen to see routes. The Countryside is the furthest from most spawn points.

First Paycheck

Earn your first salary payment

Easy
Description:Get hired at any job and receive your first paycheck after completing a full work shift.
How to Unlock:
  1. Use the computer or phone in your home to browse job listings.
  2. Apply for any entry-level position (Janitor, Cook, Retail Clerk, etc.).
  3. Wait for the hiring confirmation — some jobs respond instantly.
  4. Go to work on your scheduled shift (your Parafolk will auto-travel).
  5. Complete the shift and return home — the paycheck arrives automatically.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — The simplest career-related achievement. Any job at any level qualifies.
Reward:"Employed" status badge + 300 Paradimes bonus.
Pick a job close to your home to minimize commute time. Entry-level retail jobs are easiest since they rarely require prerequisite skills.

Lifelong Learner

Max out any skill to Level 10

Medium
Description:Raise any of the 23 learnable skills to its maximum Level 10. This proves dedication to mastery in one domain.
How to Unlock:
  1. Choose a skill to focus on — Cooking, Guitar, Programming, Painting, etc.
  2. Ensure your Parafolk has the matching Talent trait (speeds up XP gain significantly).
  3. Practice the skill activity daily — practice guitar raises Guitar skill, cooking meals raises Cooking, etc.
  4. Keep your Parafolk in the Inspired emotion state (grants learning speed bonus to ALL skills).
  5. Continue until the skill reaches Level 10 — a notification confirms max level achieved.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires consistent practice over many in-game days. Cooking and Guitar are among the fastest skills to max out.
Reward:"Master" certificate decoration + unique skill-themed outfit unlock.
Cooking is arguably the fastest skill to max because you need to cook anyway for Hunger management. Combine skill-building with daily routine! A Music Talent trait makes Guitar/Piano leveling 40% faster.

Town Celebrity

Become known by every NPC in Melino

Hard
Description:Meet and establish a non-stranger relationship label (at minimum "Acquaintance") with every unique NPC in the town of Melino.
How to Unlock:
  1. Systematically visit every location in all 4 districts of Melino.
  2. Initiate conversations with every NPC you encounter — parks, shops, workplaces, streets.
  3. Use friendly social interactions (Compliment, Chat About Interests) to build relationships.
  4. Attend Town Events (Sunday Market, festivals) where many NPCs gather at once.
  5. Track your progress via the Relationships panel — aim for "Acquaintance" or higher with everyone.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — There are 50+ unique NPCs in Melino. This requires extensive social gameplay over many sessions. New NPCs may spawn over time.
Reward:"Celebrity" golden statue for your lot + paparazzi occasionally appear outside your home.
Sunday Market events are gold mines for meeting NPCs — 15-20 NPCs gather there weekly. The "Good at Making Friends" Social trait dramatically speeds this up. Check the Relationships panel regularly to see who you haven't met yet.

Generation Keeper

Play through 3 generations of a family line

Hard
Description:Maintain a continuous family lineage spanning 3 generations — from founding Parafolk(s) through their children and grandchildren reaching adulthood.
How to Unlock:
  1. Start Generation 1: Create a couple or single founder Parafolk.
  2. Have them produce offspring (birth or adoption) — these become Generation 2.
  3. Raise Gen 2 children to Young Adult stage (they can now have their own children).
  4. Gen 2 produces offspring — these are Generation 3.
  5. Raise at least one Gen 3 child to Young Adult or beyond. Achievement unlocks here.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — This is the ultimate long-term achievement. Even on Short lifespan, expect 20-30+ hours of real-time gameplay. Requires managing multiple generations' needs, careers, and relationships.
Reward:"Dynasty Founder" heirloom object (passed down through generations) + Family Tree Editor early access.
Use Short lifespan (0.5x) to compress generational time. Enable autonomy for older generations so they self-manage while you focus on raising the youngest. Save often — this is a marathon, not a sprint!

Story Reader

Read 50 Story Cards

Easy
Description:Accumulate 50 Story Cards — the end-of-day narrative summaries that recap your Parafolk's experiences.
How to Unlock:
  1. Play normally through in-game days — each day ending generates 1 Story Card.
  2. Story Cards appear automatically at the end of each day in Live Mode.
  3. Click through and read each Story Card to count toward the total.
  4. Diverse activities generate more varied and interesting cards.
  5. After reading 50 cumulative Story Cards, the achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Purely time-based. At 1 card per day, this takes ~50 in-game days (about 8-10 real hours on Normal time speed).
Reward:"Story Collector" journal item for bookshelf decoration.
This is a passive achievement — just keep playing! You'll hit 50 Story Cards naturally during normal gameplay. Using fast-forward time acceleration helps reach the count faster.

Build Mode

11 Achievements

Architect's Dream

Build a house worth over 200,000 Paradimes

Medium
Description:Construct and fully furnish a residential lot whose combined build value exceeds 200,000 Paradimes.
How to Unlock:
  1. Start with a large lot — bigger lots allow more construction value.
  2. Build a multi-story house (at least 2 floors, ideally 3).
  3. Furnish every room with mid-to-high-tier furniture and appliances.
  4. Add premium elements: curved walls, custom paint jobs, landscaping, pools.
  5. Check the Lot Value panel in Build Mode — once it exceeds 200K, the achievement triggers.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires significant funds and building effort. Use money cheats if you want to focus purely on building without grinding.
Reward:"Master Architect" blueprint stand + unlocks premium build catalog tier.
High-end furniture (sofas, kitchen sets, bathroom fixtures) adds value quickly. A fully furnished 3-story house with a pool typically hits 200K easily. Use JACKPOT cheat ($50K) if you don't want to grind for money!

Master Builder

Use every Build Mode tool at least once

Medium
Description:Utilize every tool available in the Build Mode toolbar at least once — walls, floors, roofs, stairs, terrain, furniture placement, color wheel, etc.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and systematically go through each tool category.
  2. Wall Tools: Place straight walls, curved walls, half-walls, fences.
  3. Floor/Ceiling: Apply flooring, change ceiling height, add split levels.
  4. Roofing: Place roof sections, adjust pitch, add dormers.
  5. Stairs/Elevation: Build staircases, ramps, platforms.
  6. Terrain: Raise ground, lower ground, smooth terrain, add hills/valleys.
  7. Furniture: Place, resize, rotate, recolor objects. Use measuring tape.
  8. Check the Build Mode tool checklist — it tracks which tools you've used.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Not difficult, just thoroughness-required. Most players will naturally use most tools while building a detailed house.
Reward:"Tool Master" golden toolkit decoration + all build tools get a visual upgrade.
The tool checklist in Build Mode shows exactly which tools you haven't used yet. Commonly missed ones: Measuring Tape, Terrain Smooth, Split Levels, and Fence gates. Do a dedicated "tool tour" session to catch them all.

Curved Wall Expert

Build a structure using only curved walls

Medium
Description:Create a fully enclosed, functional building using exclusively curved wall segments — no straight walls allowed.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and select the Curved Wall tool from the wall palette.
  2. Draw a series of connected curved segments to form a closed shape (circle, oval, organic blob).
  3. Ensure the curve forms a complete enclosure — no gaps allowed.
  4. Add a floor inside the curved enclosure and place a door somewhere along the curve.
  5. Add at least one piece of furniture inside (bed, chair, anything).
  6. Exit Build Mode — the achievement validates that only curved walls were used.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Curved walls require more precision than straight ones. A simple circular room is the easiest approach.
Reward:"Curve Specialist" trophy + curved wall patterns unlock (spiral, wave, S-curve presets).
A simple round tower or circular room is the quickest way. Draw 4-6 curve segments in a circle pattern. Make sure they connect seamlessly at endpoints. Don't accidentally place a straight wall segment or it won't count!

Terrain Sculptor

Create a hill over 4 meters tall

Medium
Description:Use the terrain raise tool to create a land elevation change of at least 4 meters (about 13 feet) from base level.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and select the Terrain Editing tools.
  2. Choose the "Raise Terrain" brush tool.
  3. Click and hold on a spot on your lot, repeatedly applying the raise effect.
  4. Watch the elevation indicator — continue until it reads 4m or higher above baseline.
  5. The elevation meter in the UI will confirm when you've reached 4m+.
  6. Achievement unlocks once the terrain height threshold is crossed.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Straightforward execution, but requires knowing where the terrain tools are. Some lots have terrain limits.
Reward:"Land Artist" terrain sculpting brush set + cliff-side building enabled.
Use a large brush size for faster results. You can create a dramatic cliff face or mountain backdrop for your house while earning this. The Mountain District lots already have high terrain — you might be able to extend existing elevations.

Interior Designer

Fully decorate 5 rooms with unique themes

Easy
Description:Create and fully furnish 5 distinct rooms, each with its own cohesive decorative theme (colors, furniture styles, mood).
How to Unlock:
  1. Build or designate 5 separate enclosed rooms in your house.
  2. Room 1 — Bedroom theme: warm colors, bed, nightstand, wardrobe, lamp.
  3. Room 2 — Kitchen theme: clean whites/metallics, counters, fridge, stove, dining table.
  4. Room 3 — Living Room theme: cozy neutrals, sofa, TV, coffee table, bookshelf.
  5. Room 4 — Bathroom theme: cool blues/greens, tub/shower, sink, toilet, mirror.
  6. Room 5 — Any creative theme: home office, art studio, music room, nursery, gym, etc.
  7. Each room needs at least 5 themed items plus floor/wall treatment.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Fun and creative. Just requires furnishing 5 rooms differently. Great for creative players who enjoy decorating.
Reward:"Decorator" portfolio book item + 5 new wallpaper pattern packs.
Use the color wheel aggressively — pick a dominant color palette per room and stick to it. Themes like "Minimalist White," "Cozy Rustic," "Tropical Paradise," "Cyberpunk Neon," and "Vintage Victorian" are easy to execute with the available furniture catalog.

Pool Party

Build a swimming pool on your lot

Medium
Description:Construct a functional swimming pool with water on your residential lot using Build Mode pool tools.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and find the Pool tool (under Outdoor/Recreation category).
  2. Draw a pool basin shape — rectangular, freeform, or curved edges supported.
  3. Adjust pool depth using the depth slider (shallow end to deep end).
  4. Add pool accessories: ladder, diving board, pool lights (optional but nice).
  5. Fill the pool with water — the fill option appears after shaping the basin.
  6. Parafolk should be able to interact with the pool (swim, dive) for it to count.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Pool tools were added in a post-launch update. Straightforward once you locate the tool. Requires enough flat space on your lot.
Reward:"Pool Owner" inflatable floatie collection + summer-themed decorations.
Pools count as both recreation and property value boosters. Add lounge chairs nearby for the full backyard vibe. Hot tubs are separate from pools — you'll want both for maximum outdoor fun!

Skyscraper

Build a structure with 5 or more floors

Hard
Description:Construct a building with 5 or more distinct stories/floors, each with usable interior space.
How to Unlock:
  1. Plan a large footprint — tall buildings need wide bases for stability and usability.
  2. Build Floor 1 (ground floor) with walls, floor, and at least one room.
  3. Use the Floor Addition tool to add Floor 2 above Floor 1.
  4. Repeat for Floors 3, 4, and 5 — each floor needs at least 1 walled room.
  5. Add stairs or elevator connecting all floors (required for Parafolk access).
  6. Place at least 1 piece of furniture on each floor to validate it as "built."
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Building 5 floors requires significant planning, materials budget, and time. Each floor adds structural complexity. Performance impact on lower-end PCs.
Reward:"Skyscraper" rooftop helipad decoration + penthouse furniture collection.
Design each floor with a purpose: Ground = garage/entry, 2nd = living/kitchen, 3rd = bedrooms, 4th = hobby rooms, 5th = rooftop lounge. Use elevator objects for easier navigation than winding staircases. Consider using foundation tools for extra height!

Color Master

Use the color wheel on 50 different surfaces

Easy
Description:Apply custom colors using the 4-zone color wheel to 50 distinct surfaces (walls, floors, furniture, objects) throughout your builds.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and select any object, wall, floor, or surface.
  2. Open the Color Wheel (usually right-click or via the paint bucket icon).
  3. Adjust any of the 4 zones (Base, Highlight, Shadow, Blush) to a custom color.
  4. Apply the color change — this counts as 1 colored surface.
  5. Repeat on 49 more different surfaces. Each surface must be a unique object/side.
  6. The color customization counter in Build Mode tracks your progress.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Happens naturally during any serious building session. A fully furnished house easily exceeds 50 custom-colored surfaces.
Reward:"Colorist" rainbow swatch palette + hex code input shortcut unlocked.
Every time you recolor a wall, piece of furniture, or floor tile, it counts. Even changing a single zone (like just the Highlight) on an object counts as coloring that surface. You'll hit 50 without even trying during a normal build session.

Green Thumb

Plant 20 different flora items on your lot

Medium
Description:Place 20 unique plant/tree/flower/bush objects from the Build Mode catalog onto your lot's exterior space.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and navigate to the Plants/Landscaping category.
  2. Browse the flora catalog — trees, shrubs, flowers, cacti, succulents, etc.
  3. Place 20 different plant types (variety matters — 20 of the same tree doesn't count).
  4. Spread them around your yard, garden beds, pots, or indoor planters.
  5. Unique species/types count separately. Same species in different sizes = 1 type.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires exploring the plant catalog for variety. Easy if you enjoy landscaping. Gardening update added many new plant types.
Reward:"Botanist" greenhouse kit object + rare seed packet collection.
Combine this with the Interior Designer achievement — use potted plants indoors to count toward both! The plant catalog has 40+ species, so variety isn't an issue. Create themed garden zones: tropical corner, desert rock garden, flower meadow, bonsai terrace.

Community Architect

Share a build on Steam Workshop

Hard
Description:Upload one of your completed builds to Steam Workshop so other players can download and use it in their games.
How to Unlock:
  1. Complete a build you're proud of — a house, community lot, or creative structure.
  2. In Build Mode, click the "Share" or "Upload to Workshop" button.
  3. Add a title, description, tags, and preview screenshot for your creation.
  4. Click Publish — the build uploads to your Steam Workshop profile.
  5. Confirm successful upload (you'll get a notification). Achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Requires a completed build good enough to share, plus a Steam account linked. "Hard" rating because it involves external platform interaction and social sharing comfort.
Reward:"Creator" Workshop badge + your builds show a special creator ribbon.
Your first upload counts — it doesn't need to be perfect or popular. Even a simple starter house qualifies. Add descriptive tags so others can find it. Consider sharing your achievement-grind builds too!

Precision Builder

Use the measuring tape tool 25 times

Medium
Description:Activate the Measuring Tape tool in Build Mode and take measurements 25 times across various objects and spaces.
How to Unlock:
  1. Enter Build Mode and find the Measuring Tape in the utility tools section.
  2. Click and drag between two points to measure distance (displays in meters/feet).
  3. Measure room dimensions, furniture sizes, wall lengths, object heights.
  4. Each measurement action increments the counter (25 total needed).
  5. Commonly overlooked tool — many players never use it, making this feel like a deliberate challenge.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Only because the measuring tape is underused. Once you know where it is, taking 25 measurements takes about 5 minutes.
Reward:"Precision" blueprint ruler decoration + grid overlay toggle for Build Mode.
Do a "measurement spree" session: measure every wall, every piece of furniture, every room dimension, every ceiling height. It's actually useful for realistic builds! Real-world measurements make your builds feel authentic.

Social & Relationship

9 Achievements

Best Friends Forever

Reach maximum friendship level with another Parafolk

Medium
Description:Advance a friendship Together Card to its highest tier — "Best Friend" — representing the deepest platonic bond possible.
How to Unlock:
  1. Identify a target Parafolk (household member, neighbor, or NPC you like).
  2. Initiate regular social interactions: Deep Conversation, Share Secrets, Give Compliments.
  3. Spend time together doing shared activities: eating meals, watching movies, hobbies.
  4. Attend Town Events together — Sunday Market, festivals, park gatherings.
  5. Give thoughtful gifts aligned with their personality interests.
  6. Continue until the Together Card upgrades to "Best Friend" label.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Takes consistent social effort over many in-game days. Household members are easiest since you see them constantly. The "Good at Making Friends" Social trait helps immensely.
Reward:"BFF" friendship bracelet accessory + unlock secret Best Friend interactions.
Household members are the easiest targets — you live together so interactions happen naturally. For NPCs, the Sunday Market is the best recurring opportunity. Keep both Parafolk in positive emotions for better interaction success rates.

Tying the Knot

Get married to another Parafolk

Medium
Description:Progress a romantic relationship to its pinnacle and complete a marriage ceremony, gaining the "Spouse" Together Card label.
How to Unlock:
  1. Find a romantic interest — initiate flirting with a compatible Parafolk.
  2. Build romance through dating: romantic dinners, gift-giving, physical affection.
  3. Progress through relationship labels: Flirting → Dating → Partner → Fiancé.
  4. Once at "Partner" or deeper, the "Propose Marriage" interaction becomes available.
  5. Execute the proposal — if accepted, schedule the wedding ceremony.
  6. Complete the wedding (arch, vows, rings). Achievement unlocks at "I do."
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Romance progression is well-documented but takes time. The "Good at Romantic Relationships" Social trait smooths the process. Proposals can be rejected if relationship isn't deep enough!
Reward:"Wedded" wedding album item + spouse moves in automatically + tax benefits.
Keep both partners in Flirty or Happy emotions before proposing — success rate is much higher. A romantic dinner at a restaurant right before proposing is a classic strategy. Have a ring ready (jewelry shop purchase) for bonus acceptance chance!

Parenting Pro

Raise a child from birth to Young Adult

Hard
Description:Guide a Parafolk child from the moment they are born (or adopted as a baby) all the way through to reaching Young Adult stage under your care.
How to Unlock:
  1. Have a baby born into your household (or adopt a baby through services).
  2. Care for the baby stage: feed, change, soothe, put to sleep (autonomy helps here).
  3. Guide through Toddler: potty training, basic skills, first words (Early Life skill begins).
  4. Nurture through Child stage: school, friendships, hobbies, personality development.
  5. Support through Pre-Teen and Teen: school performance, social drama, part-time jobs, rebellion phases.
  6. Celebrate when they age up to Young Adult — achievement unlocks at this milestone.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Long-term commitment (even on Short lifespan, ~6-8 hours real time). Must actively parent through critical developmental stages. Missing key milestones (like school) can negatively affect outcomes.
Reward:"Proud Parent" framed baby photo + parenting advice book (boosts future child-rearing success rates).
Enable autonomy for the child so they handle basic needs independently. Focus your attention on milestones: homework help, skill encouragement, emotional support during teen angst. Short lifespan mode is strongly recommended unless you love the parenting grind!

Popular Parafolk

Have 10 simultaneous Friend-level relationships

Hard
Description:Maintain active "Friend" (or higher) Together Card labels with at least 10 different Parafolk at the same time.
How to Unlock:
  1. Start building relationships early — meet as many NPCs as possible.
  2. Use friendly interactions consistently: chat, compliment, share interests.
  3. Give small gifts (flowers, baked goods) to accelerate friendship growth.
  4. Host social gatherings — parties bring multiple friends together efficiently.
  5. Attend every Town Event — Sunday Market is best for mass friend-making.
  6. Monitor the Relationships panel — maintain all 10+ at Friend level or above.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Maintaining 10+ active friendships is time-consuming. Relationships decay if neglected. Need to balance social time with careers, needs, and other goals.
Reward:"Social Butterfly" party crown accessory + friends occasionally send gifts.
The "Good at Making Friends" Social trait is almost mandatory for this. Host weekly parties to touch base with multiple friends at once. Group activities (movie nights, game nights) maintain several friendships simultaneously. Don't neglect anyone for too long!

Heartbreaker

Experience a breakup or divorce

Hard
Description:Go through a formal breakup or divorce process with a romantic partner or spouse, experiencing the negative emotional aftermath.
How to Unlock:
  1. Establish a romantic relationship (Dating, Partner, or Spouse label) with someone.
  2. Neglect the relationship: miss date nights, argue, spend time apart.
  3. Or deliberately use negative interactions: Criticize, Accuse, Insult.
  4. Once relationship quality drops low enough, the "Break Up" option appears.
  5. Execute the breakup/divorce — your Parafolk will experience Sad/Angry emotions.
  6. The Together Card reverts to a lower label or Stranger. Achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Emotionally difficult (for the player!), requires ruining a relationship you built up. Also, the negative emotional state affects skill gain and job performance temporarily.
Reward:"Independent" solo living decor set + resilience personality buff (faster recovery from breakups).
Easiest approach: quickly date an NPC, propose, then immediately neglect the marriage until breakup becomes available. Or use a disposable save file specifically for this achievement. The emotional debuff lasts about 3 in-game days.

Romance Master

Experience all romance interaction types

Medium
Description:Successfully execute every unique romantic social interaction available in the Together Cards system at least once.
How to Unlock:
  1. Establish a romantic relationship (Flirting or Dating label minimum).
  2. Work through all romance interactions: Flirt, Compliment Appearance, Hold Hands, Kiss, Kiss Passionately, Embrace, Whisper Sweet Nothings, Dance Together, Stargaze, Give Flowers, Cook Romantic Dinner, Serenade.
  3. Pink event cards unlock special romance actions — trigger those when they appear.
  4. Track your progress via the Social History panel (lists used interactions).
  5. Some interactions only unlock at deeper relationship levels (Partner, Fiancé, Spouse).
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires a committed partner and patience to cycle through all interactions. Some rare interactions depend on pink event cards appearing randomly.
Reward:"Casanova" rose bouquet decoration + unlock additional romance dialogue options.
Keep a romantic partner at Spouse level and systematically try every interaction in the romance menu. Date nights at restaurants and home dinners trigger unique interactions. Pink event cards are random — keep dating consistently to maximize chances.

Good Neighbor

Introduce yourself to 5 neighbors

Easy
Description:Perform the "Introduce Self" social interaction with 5 different Parafolk who live on adjacent lots or in your immediate neighborhood.
How to Unlock:
  1. Identify neighbors — check lots adjacent to yours in the neighborhood view.
  2. Walk to a neighbor's lot or encounter them on the street nearby.
  3. Click on the neighbor Parafolk and select "Introduce Self" from social menu.
  4. Repeat with 4 more different neighbors (must be unique individuals).
  5. The interaction is brief and always succeeds — no relationship prerequisites needed.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Takes 5 minutes at most. Neighbors are easy to find and the interaction always works.
Reward:"Welcome Wagon" gift basket item + neighbors occasionally bring welcome gifts.
This pairs naturally with Melino Explorer — while visiting districts, introduce yourself to anyone you meet. The "Introduce Self" interaction has 100% success rate regardless of personality compatibility.

Party Host

Throw a successful party with 8+ guests

Medium
Description:Host a social gathering at your home where at least 8 guest Parafolk attend and the party rating reaches "Great" or higher.
How to Unlock:
  1. Build up your social network first — you need at least 8 friends to invite.
  2. Use the phone or computer to "Plan Social Event" → select "Party."
  3. Choose time, dress code, and send invitations to 10+ people (some will decline).
  4. Prepare your home: clean, add snacks, music, lighting, bathroom access.
  5. When the party starts, keep guests entertained: dance, chat, serve food.
  6. Party success meter must hit "Great" (80%+) with 8+ actual attendees present simultaneously.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires an established friend network and good party planning. Failed parties (guests leave early, fights break out) don't count.
Reward:"Party Animal" disco ball decoration + unlock themed party types (costume, pool party, etc.).
Schedule parties on weekends when guests are more likely to accept. Have a stereo playing music and plenty of food out before guests arrive. The "Good at Making Friends" trait helps get invites accepted. A well-decorated home boosts party score!

Social Butterfly

Complete 100 social interactions

Easy
Description:Accumulate 100 total completed social interactions of any type across all relationships and contexts.
How to Unlock:
  1. Play normally — every conversation, flirt, argument, compliment counts as 1 interaction.
  2. Interactions include: Chat, Compliment, Joke, Deep Conversation, Flirt, Argue, Teach, Play Game, etc.
  3. Household members provide endless interaction opportunities (live together = constant interactions).
  4. Check Social History panel to see your running total.
  5. At 100 cumulative interactions, the achievement triggers automatically.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — You'll hit 100 interactions within a few hours of normal gameplay. Household members alone generate dozens daily.
Reward:"Chatterbox" speech bubble wall decal + faster interaction animation speed.
Purely passive — just play the game socially. If you want to speed it up, spam friendly interactions with household members. Each queued action that completes counts as one. This stacks naturally with other social achievements.

Skills & Career

9 Achievements

Skill Master

Max out 5 different skills to Level 10

Hard
Description:Raise 5 distinct skills from the pool of 23 learnable skills all the way to their maximum Level 10.
How to Unlock:
  1. Pick 5 skills that complement each other or your career path (e.g., Cooking + Guitar + Painting + Programming + Fitness).
  2. Assign matching Talent traits for each skill category during character creation (or accept slower XP without them).
  3. Create a daily routine that incorporates practice for all 5 skills.
  4. Maintain Inspired emotion state for the learning speed bonus across all skills.
  5. Use career perks that boost skill XP when available.
  6. Continue until all 5 reach Level 10 — check Skills panel for progress.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Each skill takes significant time to max. Doing 5x is a major commitment. Best approached over a long save file's lifespan rather than grinding in one session.
Reward:"Polymath" trophy shelf decoration + 15% skill XP boost permanently for this Parafolk.
Choose skills you'd use anyway: Cooking (meals), Fitness (exercise = fun need), Painting (sells for money). This way skill-building overlaps with daily gameplay. Avoid obscure skills like Triangle or Potty unless you're a completionist — they're slow to level.

CEO in Making

Reach CEO position at ClickWork Industries

Hard
Description:Climb the corporate ladder at ClickWork Industries specifically, reaching the top-tier CEO position ($2,100/day salary).
How to Unlock:
  1. Apply for an entry-level position at ClickWork Industries via computer/phone.
  2. Entry role is typically "Intern" or "Junior Associate" (~$80/day).
  3. Build required skills: Technology (primary), Charisma (secondary), Logic (tertiary).
  4. Advance through ranks: Associate → Senior Associate → Manager → Director → VP → C-level → CEO.
  5. Maintain positive emotions before shifts (+30% performance bonus critical for fast promotions).
  6. Reach Rank 10 (CEO) — the highest-paying job in the game. Achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — ClickWork Industries has strict promotion requirements. Missing work or having bad performance delays promotions significantly. Takes many in-game weeks of consistent work.
Reward:"Executive Suite" premium office furniture set + $2,100/day permanent income.
Focus on Technology and Charisma skills before starting this career. Always go to work Happy or Inspired — never Stressed or Angry. Use RELIEFALLNEEDS cheat right before work if needs are low. This is the single highest-paying achievement reward in the game!

Top Chef

Cook 50 unique dishes

Medium
Description:Prepare and successfully complete 50 different recipes using the fridge/stove/cooking station in your kitchen.
How to Unlock:
  1. Ensure your kitchen has a fridge, stove/oven, and counter space.
  2. Click the fridge → "Cook Meal" → browse available recipe list.
  3. Cook a dish, wait for it to complete (burnt dishes still count as cooked).
  4. Each unique recipe counts once toward the total of 50.
  5. New recipes unlock as your Cooking skill increases (higher skill = more recipes).
  6. You can also learn recipes from cookbooks bought at bookstores or received as gifts.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Requires Cooking skill progression to unlock enough recipes. At low cooking levels, recipe options are limited. Takes consistent meal preparation over time.
Reward:"Master Chef" professional stove appliance + cookbook collection (unlocks 20 bonus recipes).
Combine with Lifelong Learner (max Cooking skill) — they synergize perfectly. Higher Cooking skill unlocks more complex recipes faster. Buy cookbooks at the bookstore to accelerate recipe discovery. Don't worry about burnt dishes — they still count!

Star Artist

Sell 25 paintings for profit

Medium
Description:Create 25 unique paintings on easels/canvases and sell each one for Paradimes through the inventory or art gallery.
How to Unlock:
  1. Buy or place an easel/canvas object in your home (from Build Mode catalog).
  2. Direct your Parafolk to "Paint" on the easel — this raises Painting skill.
  3. Each painting session produces 1 artwork after sufficient time (skill-dependent speed).
  4. Once complete, click the painting in inventory → "Sell" or take it to the Art Gallery in Old Town.
  5. Higher Painting skill = better quality paintings = higher sale prices.
  6. Sell 25 total paintings (unique pieces, not the same painting sold repeatedly).
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Time-consuming but profitable! Each painting sells for 50-500+ Paradimes depending on quality. You can fund your entire household through art sales.
Reward:"Famous Artist" golden frame for paintings + gallery exhibition invitation event.
Keep your Parafolk Inspired while painting for higher-quality output (and thus higher sale prices). An Art Talent trait dramatically speeds both skill gain and artwork value. Multiple easels let you queue several paintings in succession. This is also a great money-making strategy!

Science Genius

Discover all science experiment outcomes

Hard
Description:Complete every possible outcome variant of the Science skill's experiment activity — including successes, failures, and rare unexpected results.
How to Unlock:
  1. Buy a Science Table or Microscope from Build Mode (under Hobbies/Education).
  2. Level Science skill by conducting experiments — each experiment has randomized outcomes.
  3. Track which outcomes you've seen in the Science Journal panel.
  4. Some outcomes require specific conditions: high skill level, certain times of day, specific reagent combinations.
  5. Rare outcomes (explosions, discoveries, breakthroughs) have low probability — may require 30+ experiments.
  6. Fill every entry in the Science Experiment outcome log to unlock.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — RNG-dependent achievement. Some rare experiment outcomes have very low spawn rates. Requires patience and many repeated experiments. High Science skill improves rare outcome chances but doesn't guarantee them.
Reward:"Nobel Prize" trophy decoration + science lab equipment pack (advanced microscope, chemistry set).
A Science Talent trait significantly increases rare outcome probability. Try experiments at different times of day and with different Parafolk emotional states — some outcomes are context-sensitive. Save before each experiment and reload if you're hunting a specific rare outcome (though some players consider this cheating!).

Surgeon General

Reach top rank in Medical career

Medium
Description:Promote through the Medical domain career track to achieve the "Surgeon" or equivalent top position at Melino General Hospital.
How to Unlock:
  1. Apply for any entry-level medical job (Orderly, Medical Assistant, Lab Technician).
  2. Build Biology and Surgery prerequisite skills (Medical careers have dual skill requirements).
  3. Work consistently — medical careers have shift schedules (day/night rotations possible).
  4. Advance through ranks: Assistant → Resident → Specialist → Attending → Department Head → Chief → Surgeon.
  5. Maintain high performance — patient care quality affects promotion speed.
  6. Reach the top surgical position — achievement fires on final promotion notification.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Dual skill requirements make this harder than some careers, but medical jobs pay well at senior levels. Night shifts give flexibility for scheduling.
Reward:"Dr." title prefix for your Parafolk + medical scrubs outfit + stethoscope accessory.
Biology skill levels faster through telescope/astronomy activities. Surgery skill requires the Science Table. Consider pairing with Science Genius achievement since both use the same equipment. Medical careers pair well with Parenting Pro — doctors earn good money for large families!

Virtuoso

Learn to play 3 different instruments

Easy
Description:Reach at least Level 3 proficiency on 3 different musical instruments from the instrument skill family (Guitar, Piano, Triangle, Violin, Drums, etc.).
How to Unlock:
  1. Purchase or place 3 different instrument objects in your home (Guitar, Piano, plus one more).
  2. Direct your Parafolk to practice each instrument regularly.
  3. Each instrument has its own sub-skill under the Music knowledge domain.
  4. Practice until each reaches Level 3 (beginner proficiency — can play basic songs without mistakes).
  5. Level 3 is reachable quickly — about 2-3 hours of in-game practice per instrument.
  6. Once 3 instruments hit Level 3+, the achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Instruments are fun to practice and count toward Music skill. A Music Talent trait makes this even faster. Great background activity while managing other Parafolk.
Reward:"Musician" concert poster decorations + street performance ability (earn tips from passersby).
Guitar and Piano are the fastest instruments to learn. For the third, pick whatever looks fun — Triangle is comically quick, Drums are satisfying. Playing music autonomously fulfills the Fun need too, so it's doubly productive!

Tech Guru

Max out Programming and Technology skills

Medium
Description:Raise both the Programming practical skill AND the Technology knowledge skill to their maximum Level 10.
How to Unlock:
  1. Buy a Computer (for Programming) and a Tech Workbench or Robotics Kit (for Technology).
  2. Practice Programming: write code, debug programs, build apps on the computer.
  3. Practice Technology: tinker with electronics, build gadgets, repair objects.
  4. Both skills benefit from the Technology Talent trait (if assigned at creation).
  5. These skills synergize — high Technology makes Programming projects more valuable.
  6. Max both to Level 10 — track progress in the Skills panel.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Two skills to max instead of one doubles the effort. But tech-focused Parafolk with matching Talents can do this efficiently. Also directly supports the CEO in Making career goal.
Reward:"Tech Wizard" holographic desk decoration + ability to create and sell software/apps for passive income.
This pairs perfectly with CEO in Making — the ClickWork Industries career requires exactly these two skills at high levels. Work on these skills WHILE climbing the career ladder for maximum efficiency. A Technology Talent trait is highly recommended.

Fitness Fanatic

Reach Level 5 in Fitness skill

Easy
Description:Raise the Fitness skill to Level 5 (intermediate proficiency) through exercise and physical activities.
How to Unlock:
  1. Buy exercise equipment: treadmill, weights, yoga mat, or pool (swimming counts).
  2. Direct your Parafolk to exercise daily — each session grants Fitness XP.
  3. Alternative: go jogging around the neighborhood (free, no equipment needed).
  4. Dancing at parties/clubs also builds Fitness skill slowly.
  5. Level 5 is the midpoint — achievable in about 1-2 weeks of daily exercise (in-game time).
  6. Achievement unlocks upon reaching Level 5 exactly.
Difficulty:⭐ Easy — Exercise is quick, fun, and serves dual purpose (builds skill + fulfills Energy/Fun needs). Even casual players will hit Level 5 naturally if they exercise sometimes.
Reward:"Athlete" sports medal display + faster movement speed for this Parafolk.
Jogging is free and can be done anywhere — combine with Melino Explorer visits! Swimming in pools builds Fitness fastest. A Fitness Talent trait makes this trivially easy. This is one of the quickest skill achievements in the game.

6 Achievements

Treasure Hunter

Hard
Description:Discover and collect every unique Artefact item buried in treasure chests throughout Melino — all 31 items from Common to Legendary rarity.
How to Unlock:Explore all 4 districts thoroughly. Thursday Treasure Hunts in Old Town Castle Plaza are most reliable. Check behind buildings, parks, landmarks. Rare/Legendary artefacts have very low spawn rates. Track via Collection panel. All 31 must be held simultaneously.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Systematic exploration over many sessions. Rare items extremely rare. Some players report 20+ hours hunting last legendary items.

Museum Curator

Donate 50+ items to the Melino Museum

Hard
Description:Contribute 50+ collectible items to the Melino Museum donation system in Old Town.
How to Unlock:Visit museum in Old Town. Donate items from inventory — Artefacts, Gemstones, Paintings qualify. Museum tracks lifetime donations. Hit 50 total donations.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Collecting 50 donatable items takes significant exploration. Donating means losing potential sell value. Balance with Treasure Hunter goal.
Reward:"Patron of the Arts" named exhibit wing + name on Wall of Honor.
Donate common/low-value items to hit count. Sell rare ones for money. Museum rewards for full sets offset donation costs.

Gem Hunter

Collect all 19 Gemstone types

Medium
Description:Find and collect one of each of the 19 unique gemstone varieties scattered as glowing ground spawns throughout Melino.
How to Unlock:Look for glowing sparkles on ground. Common gems everywhere. Uncommon in Mountain/Countryside. Rare in deep forests. Legendary Meteor Fragment extremely rare random spawn.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — 19 manageable. Meteor Fragment is bottleneck due to extreme rarity.
Reward:"Gem Collector" jeweled display case + gem crafting station.
Sweep Mountain District weekly — highest gem density. Meteor Fragment rumored to spawn more after thunderstorms.

Fungi Finder

Forage all 20 mushroom varieties

Medium
Description:Forage and collect one specimen of each of the 20 unique mushroom types found growing wild in Melino's natural areas.
How to Unlock:Head to Countryside/Mountain districts. Look on tree trunks, forest floors, grassy areas. Common edibles everywhere. Rare ones in hidden spots. Poisonous ones count too!
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — 20 varieties needs thorough exploration. Some rare mushrooms only spawn in specific seasons/weather.
Reward:"Mycologist" identification guide + edible mushrooms restore extra hunger when cooked.
Don't eat unknown mushrooms! Black Truffles hardest to find — near oak trees in deep Countryside forests after rain.

Art Connoisseur

Collect all 41 Paintings

Hard
Description:Acquire all 41 unique paintings available in Paralives — through buried treasure chests, shop purchases, and special events.
How to Unlock:Three sources: buried chests (like Artefacts), art shops, special events. Common paintings cheap. Rare ones from chests or expensive galleries. Legendary very rare. Your own paintings don't count. Track missing in Collection panel.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Largest collectible category (41). Some extremely rare or expensive. Combines RNG + cost challenges.
Reward:"Art Critic" golden easel + personal gallery wing at museum.
Focus on chest-hunting for rare paintings. Check art shops weekly. Some only appear during Town Events. Pairs with Treasure Hunter.

Stamp Collector

Collect all 36 Stamp varieties

Medium
Description:Obtain all 36 unique stamp designs that appear on letters, billing notices, and special mail items.
How to Unlock:Check mailbox daily. Different letters carry different stamps. Holiday/event stamps on specific dates. Collaboration stamps from promos. Stamps purely collectible — cannot be sold/donated. Check Stamp Album in inventory.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — 36 stamps accumulate passively. Holiday stamps require waiting for specific dates. Collaboration stamps potentially missable.
Reward:"Philatelist" stamp album display case + custom postage stamp design tool.
Check mailbox EVERY day without fail. Enable bill delivery even with cheats. More friends = more letters = more stamps. Holiday stamps are the bottleneck.

Secret & Hidden

5 Achievements

How to Unlock:
  1. Egg #1: Old Town central plaza statue — interact at exactly midnight (00:00). Plays a musical chime referencing a classic life sim.
  2. Egg #2: Mountain District highest peak — look at the view for 30 seconds. Faint message "Alex was here" appears in clouds.
  3. Egg #3: Industrial District — find shipping container with tiny door. Knock 5 times. Mini Parafolk waves back (crowdfunding mascot ref).

Reward:"Secret Finder" glowing aura effect + dev comment card thanking you for being curious.
The container in Industrial District is behind the train warehouse, partially hidden by crates. Developers love hiding secrets in plain sight!

Whiskers' Blessing

???

Hard
Description:Encounter the mysterious stray cat "Whiskers" that roams Melino streets at night and successfully befriend it.
How to Unlock:
  1. Wait until nighttime (after 22:00) and walk through Old Town or Countryside streets.
  2. A black cat named Whiskers may appear randomly (~5% chance per night).
  3. Approach slowly and select "Offer Food" or "Pet Gently."
  4. Wrong actions scare Whiskers away — try again next night.
  5. Befriend after 3 gentle interactions across different nights.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Extremely low spawn rate. Many players have never seen Whiskers despite hundreds of hours played.
Reward:"Cat Person" cat ears headband + Whiskers becomes semi-permanent visitor bringing occasional gifts.
Community tip: Whiskers seems to spawn more during full moons and rainy nights. Having "Loves Animals" lifestyle trait may help. Move slowly when you spot any black cat shape!

Near-Death Experience

Survive a fatal need crisis

Hard
Description:Allow a critical need (Hunger or Sleep) to enter the "Fatality" zone where death is imminent, then rescue your Parafolk at the last moment.
How to Unlock:
  1. Save your game first — this is risky!
  2. Neglect Hunger OR Sleep until the red "Critical" warning appears.
  3. Continue until the skull icon shows (Fatality imminent — death countdown begins).
  4. At the last second (< 5s remaining), fulfill the need: eat food or sleep.
  5. If timed correctly, Parafolk survives with dramatic animation. Achievement unlocks.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Timing window is extremely tight (seconds). Failure = death of your Parafolk. Only attempt on disposable saves!
Reward:"Cheater Death" grim reaper shadow trail + temporary skill learning boost (3 days).
Use Ricardo Castello III mode so needs decay faster. Have food/bed prepared RIGHT NEXT to your Parafolk before starting. Pause frequently to check countdown timer. Practice on a test save first!

Night Owl

Stay awake for 48 consecutive hours

Medium
Description:Keep a Parafolk awake (no sleeping, napping, or passing out) for 48 continuous in-game hours fighting through exhaustion effects.
How to Unlock:Fill Sleep need fully first. Keep occupied constantly: socialize, work skills, exercise, read. Use coffee/energy drinks to counteract sleepiness. Survive all 48 hours without auto-passout. About 2-3 hours real-time attention needed.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — Manageable with caffeine strategy. Main challenge is preventing auto-passout. Night Owl lifestyle trait helps enormously.
Reward:"Insomniac" dark circle eye makeup + reduced Sleep need decay rate permanently (-10%).
Stock up on coffee and energy drinks beforehand. Keep Parafolk busy with engaging activities. Do this during a weekend when you don't need peak performance for work.

Debug Mode Activated

Type a secret console command

Medium
Description:Enter a specific undocumented cheat command into the console not listed in standard HELP output — a developer-only hidden command.
How to Unlock:Open cheat console (Ctrl+F1). Type: IAMAPARAFOLK (all caps). Press Enter. Special confirmation message appears. Purely an achievement trigger/easter egg — no gameplay effect.
Difficulty:⭐⭐ Medium — You need to know the command exists (you do now!). Meta-achievement for players who engage with community/read guides.
Reward:"Hacker" terminal screen decoration + console command history becomes searchable/filterable.
Type IAMAPARAFOLK in the console (Ctrl+F1) and enjoy! This is the developers rewarding players who dig into game systems. Share this discovery with friends!

Challenge

Complete a year under Ricardo Castello III

Hard
Description:Play through a full in-game year (365 days) with Ricardo Castello III selected as Storyteller — harshest difficulty with accelerated need decay and frequent negative events.
How to Unlock:Start new save, choose Ricardo Castello III Storyteller. Needs deplete 2x faster. Random disasters weekly (fires, burglaries, illnesses, breakdowns). Keep at least one Parafolk alive for 365 days. Switching Storytellers voids the run.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Ultimate survival challenge. Disaster chains compound problems. Requires mastery of ALL systems. Expect multiple failed attempts.
Reward:"Survivor" golden trophy + unlock "Custom Storyteller" option (create own ruleset).
Start wealthy (JACKPOT cheat if needed). Build small efficient home first. Keep emergency supplies: fire extinguisher, extra food, first aid kit. Learn which events are survivable vs which need intervention. Good luck!

Millionaire Club

Accumulate 1,000,000 Paradimes

Hard
Description:Reach household net worth of 1,000,000 Paradimes through career income, art sales, collectible sales, business profits, or cheats.
How to Unlock:CEO salary ($2,100/day) = ~$63K/month → ~17 months to 1M. With art sales supplementing ($400-600/day extra) = ~$2,700/day total → ~370 days (~1 year). Minimize expenses. Alternative: SETMONEY 1000000 cheat (counts but feels like cheating!).
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Legitimately earning 1M takes many months of in-game time even optimally. Cheat path instant but unsatisfying for achievement hunters.
Reward:"Tycoon" money bin decoration (swim in coins like Scrooge McDuck!) + luxury tax bracket (cosmetic only).
Fastest legitimate path: CEO ($2,100/day) + Star Artist (sell 2-3 paintings daily ~$200 avg each) = ~$2,700/day total. At that rate, 1M takes ~370 days. Start dedicated save file!

Homeless Challenge

Survive 30 days without a home

Hard
Description:Keep a Parafolk alive for 30 consecutive in-game days without owning/residing on any residential lot — surviving entirely in public spaces.
How to Unlock:Sell/never buy lot. Sleep at public locations: park benches, 24-hour diners, library reading nooks. Eat at restaurants/convenience stores. Use public bathrooms. Manage extreme discomfort: weather exposure, lack of storage, social stigma. Survive all 30 days.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — No bed = poor sleep = chronic negative moods = skill penalties = worse job performance = less money. Weather damages comfort further. True hardcore challenge run.
Reward:"Nomad" cardboard box "house" decoration + increased resilience to discomfort needs (-15% decay).
Use Stella (easiest) Storyteller. Befriend someone quickly and ask to "Stay Over" — their couch counts as shelter (loophole!). Eat at Sunday Market food stalls. Shower at gym. Embrace the suffering!

Matchmaker

Arrange 5 marriages between other Parafolk

Hard
Description:Facilitate romantic relationships between 5 different NPC couples culminating in marriage — acting as matchmaker without being part of the couple yourself.
How to Unlock:Identify compatible NPC pairs. Introduce them via "Introduce To..." interaction. Encourage romance: group hangouts, Wingman interactions. Guide through Dating → Partner → Proposal → Wedding. All 5 marriages must complete.
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Limited control over NPC-NPC relationships. Autonomy, personality conflicts, random events derail efforts. Couples may break up or reject proposals. Patience + luck required.
Reward:"Cupid" bow and arrow accessory + unlock "Matchmaker" service business (earn money arranging marriages).
Target NPCs with compatible traits and Vibe personalities. Host parties and seat potential couples together. "Good at Romantic Relationships" trait gives better Wingman success rates. Don't get discouraged by failures — try different pairings!

Disaster Survivor

Experience every disaster type and survive

Hard
Description:Live through every random disaster event type — Fire, Burglary, Severe Storm, Illness Outbreak, Appliance Explosion, Ghost Haunting — surviving each with all household members intact.
How to Unlock:
  1. Fire: Let cooking fail / faulty wiring. Extinguish before spread kills. Have extinguisher ready.
  2. Burglary: More likely with expensive homes/Ricardo mode. Confront or call police.
  3. Severe Storm: Random weather event. Stay indoors, secure items. Wait safely.
  4. Illness Outbreak: Contagious sickness spreads. Rest, medicate, isolate sick members.
  5. Appliance Explosion: Cheap/broken appliances explode. Repair or replace old ones proactively.
  6. Ghost Haunting: Occurs if Parafolk dies on-lot. Ghost causes mischief. Survive haunting period (3-5 days).
Difficulty:⭐⭐⭐ Hard — Some rare (ghost requires death first). Others dangerous (fire kills quickly). Ricardo mode increases frequency but makes survival tougher. Save before attempts!
Reward:"Unlucky" black cat figurine (ironic — brings good luck!) + disaster early-warning system (1 hour notice).
Use Ricardo mode for faster disaster triggering. Keep emergency kit stocked. For ghost haunting, deliberately let a Parafolk die on-lot (Near-Death territory). Save before each disaster attempt!

Frequently Asked Questions

1

How many total achievements are in Paralives?

Paralives currently features 54 achievements across 7 categories: Story & Progression (11), Build Mode (11), Social & Relationship (9), Skills & Career (9), Collection (6), Secret & Hidden (5), and Challenge (5). Additional achievements may be added in future Early Access updates.
2

Do achievements disable trophies or affect saves?

No. Unlike some console games, using cheats in Paralives does NOT disable achievements or trophy tracking. Cheats won't void saves or prevent unlocks. The system is designed to be cheat-friendly for sandbox players.
3

What is the easiest achievement to unlock first?

"First Steps" is easiest — unlocks automatically within minutes of creating your first Parafolk. Other very easy early achievements include "Home Sweet Home", "Melino Explorer", and "First Paycheck". You can unlock 7+ in your first hour.
4

Which achievement takes the longest legitimately?

"Generation Keeper" (3 generations) is likely longest — 20-30+ real hours even on Short lifespan. "Millionaire Club" (1M Paradimes) is close second at ~1 year optimal earning. "Town Celebrity" (know all NPCs) also extremely long depending on NPC spawns.
5

Can I track achievement progress in-game?

Yes! Open the Achievement Panel from the game menu. Shows all achievements by category with locked/unlocked status, progress bars for multi-step achievements, timestamps, and global comparison stats. Our checkboxes above also help external tracking.
6

Are there missable achievements?

Most are not missable. However, Stamp Collector holiday stamps require waiting for specific calendar dates, and collaboration stamps may be tied to limited-time promos. "Whiskers' Blessing" depends on rare random spawn. Generally though, Paralives is very forgiving.
7

Do achievements grant gameplay bonuses or just cosmetics?

Both! Most award cosmetics: badges, titles, decorations, clothing. But some grant meaningful bonuses: Skill Master (+15% XP), Millionaire Club (money bin interaction), Night Owl (-10% Sleep decay), Disaster Survivor (early warnings). These make achievement-hunting strategically valuable beyond completionism.
8

What's the best order to unlock achievements efficiently?

See our Fastest Unlock Path above for the recommended 8-phase plan! General principle: (1) Get free/automatic achievements first, (2) batch build-mode tasks, (3) align skill-grinding with careers, (4) tackle social objectives naturally, (5) collect passively, (6) save hardest challenges for last. This minimizes wasted effort and maximizes synergy.
